Each skin responds differently but we recommend a series of 3-6 treatments at 4 weekly intervals, dependent on the initial condition being treated, and the desired outcome.

Final results can take 3-6 months for full effects to be seen.

We recommend the skin is primed with active ingredients for at least two weeks prior to the treatment. This is to maximise treatment outcomes, assist in speeding the healing time and reduce the risk of possible complications. A specific skin care regime will be recommended to you at your initial consultation.

You may feel some pressure, or mild heat though you wont feel any pain due to the topical anaesthetic applied prior to your procedure.

The clear, micro-channels created by the VIVACE remain open for four to six hours – with very little to no indication of treatment. Specific after care will be used and recommended for optimal results and faster recovery. After that time period, you are ready for a night out. Most patients go out hours after the treatment with no makeup at all. Higher treatment settings may cause prolonged side effects.

• Wash gently using a mild/gentle cleanser and water (do not soak the skin)
• Keep the skin moist with the product given to you, and make sure you apply it with clean hands
• Avoid using hot water on the treatment area for 24 hours
• Makeup is fine to use after 6 hours but 24/48 hours is preferable
• It is important to protect the skin from the sun by using a broad spectrum SPF 30+ sunscreen daily as of the day after treatment
• Do not shave if you have crusting in that area
• Discontinue use of your active skin care for 1 week or as recommended
• Avoid excessive exercise, sweating, hot baths, saunas, swimming or alcohol for 3 days

• If the healing skin is incorrectly cared for it can prolong healing and possibly lead to infection or scarring
• Possible herpes simplex outbreak if prone to cold sores
• Bruising

• Hypo or hyperpigmentation
• Crusting, scabbing, blistering, burns

We recommend continuing daily use of your active skin care products, and as you will continue to age, having your desired VIVACE treatment every 3 months, or a series of treatments 1-2 times per year to maintain your youthful look.
